Euston Hall and Estate has been the home of the Dukes of Grafton for over 350 years. Built in 1666, this Palladian historic home is set in 10,500 acres of landscaped gardens, parkland, ancient broadleaf woodland and agricultural farmland. The visit will start with a talk in The Old Kitchen by the archivist, Edward Wortley, on the Dukedom, the Hall and the Estate. Following the talk there will be a tour around the estate with the Estate Director, Robert Childerhouse, who will cover the variety of crops which are grown on the irrigated sandy soils, the raising of sheep, beef cattle and pigs, the production of electricity from anaerobic digestion and solar farms, and 500 acres of tropical hardwood trees for timber and carbon capture.

Please note, this visit will not be suitable for those with limited mobility as getting on and off the farm trailer for the farm tour will require some agility.
