A standing room only sellout crowd of over 130 alumni attended the “Fireside Chat with Unicorns" event in San Francisco in July, part of the CAMentrepreneurs network.

We’re grateful to and thank the distinguished speakers who gave their time to engage with alumni both during the event and afterwards, listed below.

The panel was led by Unicorn Founder Mike Anderson, the Founder of Tealium, a 600-employee strong enterprise SaaS unicorn backed by $264M from Georgian Partners, Bain Capital, Industry Ventures, Battery Ventures and others. Tealium provides data orchestration tools for online search, marketing, and segment targeting.

Alexey Dubov is the co-Founder and CIO of Mighty Buildings, backed by over $150M from Khosla Ventures and over 40 other investors. Mighty Buildings is applying 3D printing, robotics and automation to residential housing construction. Alexey is the founding partner of BuildTech, a VC fund focussed on con-tech and RE-tech.

Janelle Teng is a Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners, a multi-stage VC fund with $20 billion AUM. Janelle focuses primarily on early-stage investments in AI/ML apps, data infrastructure, developer platforms, defense tech and is passionate about supporting highly technical teams in the earliest stages.

Shashank Saxena is a Managing Partner at Sierra Ventures, where he leads enterprise software investments. He was also the Co-Founder and CEO of VNDLY, founded in 2017 as a Vendor Management System (VMS) and acquired by Workday in 2021 for $510M. Shashank has also been an active early-stage angel investor.
