All Alumni Groups are provided with an individual webpage and we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this. These services allow Alumni Groups to self-manage event promotions and emails to alumni. • Registering an event – online registration forms, access to a protected area to view all upcoming events
  • Online event bookings – free, pay on the door and pay in advance events, take online payments, event confirmations, view attendees and download data into a .csv file, log attendance post-event
  • Digital communication service – online form to request mass email to alumni in the area, city/country, opportunity to choose demographic and date of email, Group-specific email template
  • Enhanced web presence – template for Group pages, improved navigation and information displayed, geo-location to find Groups, the ability for Groups to create content on the site
  • Online resources – password-protected space to access resource services

The alumni website contains a list of forthcoming Group events. If you need some inspiration for your next event, this list may be helpful. To take advantage of these pages, please ensure we have details of your latest news, events and activities. You can add photos and/or links to other sites as appropriate.

Groups' committee bulletin

The Groups' committee bulletin is sent to Alumni Group primary contacts and committee members. It contains updates from the University and examples of good practice.

Leadership conference and meetings

Join us in Cambridge for the biennial Leadership Conference. The forum for Alumni Group representatives is an opportunity to share ideas, meet staff from across the University, and learn more about the vital role alumni volunteers play as advocates and ambassadors for the University of Cambridge.

We also hold regional meetings around the world in between these conferences. The regional meetings allow us to provide more detailed updates from the University and reach out to Groups that may not be able to attend the conference in Cambridge.

Party in a box

University branded items are available to help create a stronger sense of Cambridge at your events. To request an order form, please contact the Alumni Engagement Team.

Speaker’s Bureau

We can to provide Alumni Groups with speakers to connect alumni to the research and intellectual life of the University. We have put together a vast list of speakers that are available to speak to Alumni Groups.

Surveying alumni

One of the ways we can help you engage alumni in your area. We are able to custom build a survey to send to alumni allowing you to get a understand and learn what alumni in your area want. The services could help to get a broader cross section of alumni to your Group.
