After an enjoyable weekend away in Gruyère last year, we are planning a two-day trip to Engadin (Graubünden) on the weekend of 17-18 June.

The preliminary plan is as follows:

Day 1 - Saturday, 17 June
On Saturday morning, we will drive to Sils Maria (1797 m), where we will start our hike along Panoramaweg (~8 km) to Corvatsch Mittelstation Murtèl (2698 m). From there, we will take a cable car to Corvatsch Bergstation (3303 m).

After lunch, we will take the cable car back to Corvatsch Mittelstation Murtèl and hike down along Panoramaweg. If we have time, we might take a detour around the small mountain lakes. Those who do not wish to join the hike can take a cable car from Corvatsch Talstation Surlej (1864 m) all the way up to Corvatsch Bergstation (and back). After the hike, we will check into a hotel (tbd) and have dinner at a nice restaurant (tbd).

Day 2 - Sunday, 18 June

On Sunday morning, we plan to visit Alp-Schaukäserei Morteratsch for some cheese tasting and a traditional meal at their resturant. After lunch, we plan to go to Segantini museum. Time and weather permitting, we might take a walk along the St. Moritz lake, go for a swim in Lake Staz, or take a short walk along Gletscherweg Morteratsch and admire the third longest glacier in the Eastern Alps. In the evening, we will drive back to Zürich.
