We are planning our annual family hike on 26/07 (with a back-up on 27/07 should the weather be unsuitable). This year we plan to take the train in the late morning out to Schliersee together where we then walk along the beautiful lake towards Spitzingsee. The lake has multiple bathing spots so bring your swim suits in case you want to jump in.

The route will be planned such that all needs are considered and the pace will be more a leisurely stroll than a Bavarian hike. Options include a loop around the lake or a more demanding and non flat walk up to Spitzingsee stopping at the Josefthaler waterfalls.

We will then eat lunch together at a local restaurant.
