Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge and Oxford Society, Tokyo for their Early Summer Party, which will be held at the Tsunamachi Mitsui Club - this is a private club for senior members of the Mitsui Group, which is housed in an ornate 1913 mansion designed by British architect Josiah Conder (1852 – 1920). It was originally built as the Mitsui family’s guesthouse.

This will be our fifth visit to the Club, and I am sure those who attended our previous events there will join me in encouraging members who have never visited the Club to take this opportunity to experience its excellent cuisine and very special atmosphere.

The deadline to sign up is Friday, June 7th, but please note that although capacity is fairly large, there is a possibility of oversubscription. As usual, members are welcome to invite one guest each (except in the case of family members, when there is no limit, within reason, although the minimum age limit is 18).
