Theory of Condensed Matter Seventieth Anniversary
On Friday 25 July, TCM will celebrate the 70th anniversary at the new Ray Dolby Centre.
The event will consist of a series of talks from TCM alumni, including Duncan Haldane, one of the 2016 Physics Nobel Laureates. A drinks reception will be followed by a dinner at St. John's College.
The dinner is primarily intended to TCM Alumni and current group members. Other attendees wishing to join for dinner are kindly asked to email tcm70@tcm.phy.cam.ac.uk to enquire about availability.
Provisional programme:
1.30pm Registration, with refreshments
2pm First session of talks
3.30pm Coffee break
4pm Second session of talks
5.30pm-6.30pm Drinks reception
7pm for 7.30pm Dinner in the Hall at St. John’s College
Booking information
Day only tickets are free, but booking is still required.
Day and dinner tickets are £60, with reduced tickets for current researchers and students.
Booking for this event will close on Friday 11 July 2025, 12.00pm BST.
