The Society’s annual pilgrimage to the Thames for the Boat Race Meeting will take place on Saturday 4th April at Dukes Meadow Golf Club. The towpath near the club affords an excellent view of the finish of the race; other stages may be seen on television in the bar area. 

The Light Blues will be seeking to replicate the clean sweeps achieved in recent years, and a warm welcome is extended to members of adjacent Cambridge alumni societies who join us on the day.

This year’s meeting will commence from 12.30 on Saturday 4th April. 

The provisional programme will be:

• 12.30pm - Earliest guest arrival – time to socialise, have a drink 
• 1pm - Two course luncheon with colour TV; cash bar available
• 2.21 - The Women’s Boat Race
• 2.35 - The Osiris/Blondie Race
• 2.50 - The Isis/Goldie Race
• 3.21 - The Men’s Boat Race
• 4.15 - Guests depart
