The Cambridge Society of Hereford and Worcester invite you to join them for an evening buffet supper and talk "The Eyes have it - advances in ophthalmic surgery for the 21st century" by Mr. Simon Madge and Mr. Amun Sachdev.

Discover how eye care and surgery have evolved into the advanced cutting-edge techniques of today. We will highlight the innovations, stories and remarkable technology that are transforming modern eye care with the aim of enhancing and protecting the vision of those with conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disease and more.

Mr Simon Madge is a consultant eye surgeon at The Wye Clinic, Hereford's premier private medical clinic, with an NHS practice at the County Hospital. He originally studied medicine at Jesus College, Cambridge and Magdalen College, Oxford, before initially training in general medicine and then ophthalmology. He specialises in cataract, lens replacement and eyelid surgery.

Mr Amun Sachdev is a consultant ophthalmologist specialising in both micro-incision (“keyhole”) cataract surgery and glaucoma. He also works at The Wye Clinic and has an NHS practice at the Hereford County Hospital. He studied medicine at Merton College, Oxford, graduating in 2012.
