The Oxbridge Alumni Club of Slovenia has organized a Summer Gala. This will be a great opportunity for networking with the inner circle of local Oxbridge Alumni Clubs.
Our event will be held in the city of Ptuj, Slovenia on Saturday, 08th June 2024. Ptuj is conveniently located within 100 km of Austrian, Croatian and Hungarian borders, and offers a wealth of culinary, historical and cultural treasures.
We will meet at 1:30 p.m. on the walls of Ptuj Castle, from where we will proceed with a guided tour of Ptuj castle and the city's rich cultural history. The tour will lead us through the oldest Slovenian wine cellar, whose beginnings date back to the 13th century, explore its underground tunnels and taste the fruits of local winemakers. The day will conclude with a Gala Dinner by river Drava, which connects many of our neighbouring clubs.
