School of Clinical Medicine 50th Anniversary Events

School of Clinical Medicine 50th Anniversary Events

Our 2026 anniversary programme of events celebrates the School's first 50 years and looks ahead to the future.

Our programme of online and in-person events is open to all our medical alumni: whether you did your pre-clinical or clinical training in Cambridge, or a postgraduate course at the School.

The School of Clinical Medicine 50th Anniversary Alumni Reunion is on Friday 12 June and Saturday 13 June 2026.

A special gathering for the School's first medical cohorts, followed by a welcome reception for all School alumni, will begin our celebrations on Friday.

Saturday's programme will include networking opportunities, Q&A panels and a formal dinner.

Bookings are due to open by email at the end of February.

Please get in touch with any questions about our reunion: departments@alumni.cam.ac.uk

Join our webinars throughout the year, showcasing our researchers' work and exploring the science behind headlines about our health.

Discover the School's extraordinary past, present and future at the Cambridge Festival in March: take a guided tour of the Biomedical Campus to learn about the School's partnerships with the NHS and industry, and attend talks from our academics at the Cambridge Union.

Come to our reunion in June to reconnect with the School community and your fellow medical alumni: for some, the reunion may be your first time visiting the School building; for others, it will have been only a few years since you last sat in the William Harvey Lecture Theatre.

Our annual Alumni Festival in September will feature discussion panels, researcher tours, and talks from a range of clinical academics.

More details will be confirmed soon.
