We have received the following invitation to a charity concert from the team at Tukwataniise Asbl. Tukwataniise Asbl is a Luxembourg/Uganda-based charity, set up about 10 years ago, to promote the development of a 400 children strong primary school in rural SW Uganda. The foci of support are infrastructure (school buildings, etc) and a child welfare program providing especially school meals. Finance is raised from a variety of private and public sources, including sponsoring special events, such as the present concert.

“On behalf of Tukwataniise asbl, we are delighted to announce our second annual concert, which will take place on Sunday 25th January 2026 in a wonderful space very kindly made available to us by the Valentiny Foundation in Remerschen. Beata Szalwinska and Gilberto Pereyra, both well-known professional artists who play respectively the piano and the bandoneon, have generously undertaken to entertain us with a combination of tango and classical music. In addition, Beata will be offering free CDs to all concert-goers. A brief bio about each artist is attached for your information.
