As the festive season quickly approaches, the Thomas Wade Society is holding an informal drinks event in London from 7pm on Saturday, 9 December.

This promises to be a terrific opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and bond over our shared experiences studying or teaching Chinese at Cambridge over the years.

The drinks are set to take place at the Old China Hand in Clerkenwell, a friendly, well-situated pub with a name, history and reputation fitting for a Chinese Studies alumni association.

You'll have to cover your own drinks, but Liam might treat you to some finger food...
