Guardians of Empire
Guardians of Empire
Nirvana Romell will talk on the extraordinary mosaic heritage found along the Northern Adriatic coast, spanning from the late Roman to early medieval periods. While some sites like Ravenna are world-renowned, others such as Aquileia, Torcello, and Poreč, remain lesser-known yet equally captivating. Join Nirvana as she explores the interconnected stories these mosaics reveal: tales of conquest, shifting powers, and the monumental efforts of empire-building during a pivotal era in European history.
