The Cern Croquet Club have kindly confirmed that we may use their lawns on Saturday the 5th August.

Should the weather be inclement, we will move the event to Sunday 6th.

The location is the CERN site de Prevessin. on the D35 from Ferney towards St Genis, or from the route de Merin, on the C11 (first right after the frontier) at the end of the road.

There is now public transport access, bus 66 from the airport, and then a 7 minute walk to the lawns. It leaves at 0943 and takes 1 hour.

The format will be as prior years, the O&C club will provide a welcome apero from 11h, we will have the opportunity of using the barbeque, members to bring their own provisions, there are utensils, plates, glasses and washing up facilities at the Club. The event is suitable for families.

Very reasonable drinks will be available self service from the club bar, to be reckoned and settled with me. You are of course also free to bring your own.

We plan to BBQ at around 13.30.
 

We shall need details of those planning to attend in order to obtain day passes which I shall lodge on the day with the CERN guards so that you may gain access. I would rather register a few who in the end cannot make it (though please let me know) than have you turned away at the gate at 10h on 5th August.

Please note, I shall thus need final details from attendees by 3rd August.
