Family friendly walk
Family friendly walk
This is something we hope can become a regular event. It will take place at Hatchlands Park, a National Trust property located in the heart of Surrey. The estate contains over 400 acres of parkland landscaped by Humphry Repton and features formal grounds, as well as an 18th century folly designed to replicate an ancient temple and the remains of a Georgian ice house. Children and furry friends are most welcome!
The walk should last approximately 90 minutes with the opportunity to visit the café or natural playground afterwards. The route is mostly flat, although not all paved so sensible shoes are needed as the ground may be muddy underfoot.
Hatchlands Park is situated around 5 miles from Guildford in the village of East Clandon. It is located on the A246 and close to the A3 so has convenient access. There is a free car park and dogs are welcome.
