We are delighted to announce our first-ever public guest lecture, taking place at the Estonian Academy of Sciences in Tallinn Old Town.

Our guest is Professor Tim Minshall from the University of Cambridge, who is travelling specially to Tallinn for the occasion. Tim is the Dr John C Taylor Professor of Innovation and Head of Cambridge’s Institute for Manufacturing.

Drawing on his recent book Your Life is Manufactured, Tim will explore the often-hidden world of manufacturing and why it matters to build more resilient supply chains, boost innovation and ensure European competitiveness. 

The lecture will be followed by a discussion and audience Q&A, moderated by Professor Maarja Kruusmaa (TalTech).

Following the lecture, we are also planning a get-together for members and interested parties with Professor Minshall. Further details will follow.
