Members and guests are welcome to join us for the Society's Christmas lunch and visit to the National Museum of Qatar

Thanks to our member Victoria, who works at the museum, we will be able to avail a discount at the restaurant.

There are two exhibitions on at the museum this season - Growing Kopi, Drinking Gahwa which is about coffee in Indonesia & Qatar and The Shape of Time which is travelling exhibition of Oceanic Art from The Met. Entrance is free for residents, but you will need to get a free resident’s ticket at the ticket desk to enter the galleries and exhibitions. The museum is open from 9 am – 7 pm so we can visit either before or after our meal.
 
Dress code: Casual, local attire
