We will be joined by Bridget Kendall MBE HonFBA, who spent over thirty years as a BBC correspondent in Moscow, Washington, and covering global conflicts and diplomacy as Diplomatic correspondent, during which time she twice interviewed President Putin as well as many other world leaders. From 2016 to 2023 she was Master of Peterhouse, Cambridge, the first woman to head the college. Bridget will discuss her personal experiences.

The gardens will be open that afternoon for you to explore on your own if you wish. The event will start at 6pm followed at 7pm by supper in the Cloisters Tea Room. There is a choice of Cottage Pie or Vegetarian Quiche, followed by dessert and tea/coffee with water on the table.
