We are delighted to confirm that our 150th Anniversary Alumni Day and Dinner will be held on Friday 24 January 2025, with doors opening at 1.30pm.

The day will feature engaging talks, tours, refreshments, a drinks reception, and a celebratory dinner in the stunning dining hall of Peterhouse. It’s a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, reflect on the Cavendish research legacy you helped shape, and enjoy a memorable day in excellent company.

We’re currently finalising the program and are excited about the lineup of speakers and activities. You'll have the chance to learn about current research and teaching at Cavendish, share your experiences since leaving the University, and explore how our community continues to innovate and inspire.

This event will offer an oppertunity to bid farewell to the old Cavendish buildings that have served generations of physicists over the past 50 years. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to visit our state-of-the-art new home, the Ray Dolby Centre.
