Alumni are invited to join us for a very special online event with Dr Hugh Hunt (e1990), Keeper of the Clock, providing a unique behind-the-scenes tour of King Edward’s Gate and the Trinity College clock. 

There will be the opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Please note that the event will start approximately ten minutes early.

Speakers

Dr Hugh Hunt (Emmanuel 1984 and a Fellow of Trinity)

Hugh Hunt Reader in Engineering Dynamics and Vibration in the University of Cambridge, is a Fellow of Trinity College. His principal interests are in dynamics and vibration, gyroscopes and boomerangs. His most recent research is in the fields of renewable energy and geoengineering, including the SPICE project – technology for cooling the Earth by 2 degrees C if CO2 emissions targets are not met. 

He took his first degree in Engineering from Melbourne University, Australia and has a PhD from the University of Cambridge. He uses his impressive collection of boomerangs to inspire students in the study of Dynamics and Mechanics.
