Join Professor Wendy Barclay, Professor Adam Fox and Professor John O’Brien - former medical students of Robinson College and now internationally renowned specialists in the fields of infectious disease, paediatric allergy and dementia - as they talk to Dr Judith Richards about their student days in Cambridge and their subsequent careers. They will also discuss the latest developments in their respective fields.

Dr Judith Richards

Dr Judith Richards is a retired Consultant Medical Microbiologist and Director of Infection Prevention & Control and a Past Chair of the International Federation of Infection Control. She is also a Senior Member of Robinson College.

Professor Wendy Barclay (Robinson 1982)

Professor Wendy Barclay

Professor Wendy Barclay is a virologist, the Head of Department of Infectious Disease and Chair in Influenza Virology at Imperial College London. She leads a team of scientists studying the influenza virus to discover novel vaccines. 

Professor Adam Fox (Robinson 1990)

Professor Adam Fox

Professor Adam Fox is a Professor of Paediatric Allergy St Thomas' Hospital/King’s College London. He is a leading authority in the field of food allergy in children.  

Professor John O'Brien (Robinson 1980)

Professor John O'Brien

Professor John O'Brien is Professor of Old Age Psychiatry, University of Cambridge. His main research interest is in late-life depression.
