Anatomy Unleashed: building a digital dog from the paws up
Using Selwyn College’s state-of-the-art anatomage table, unique in Cambridge to Selwyn College, Dr Stuart Eves, Selwyn’s Fellow in Veterinary Medicine will create a dog from the paws up. The anatomage table is a digital device that uses 3D imaging technology for advanced 3D anatomy visualisation and virtual dissection.
Dr Eves will take a system-by-system approach to Canine anatomy placing each system within the wider context of the animal itself. He will highlight the capabilities of new technologies in Medical Education, showcasing the exciting and varied functions of the anatomage table.
This event will be livestreamed and can be watched on YouTube.

Speaker
Dr Stuart Eves (Fellow of Selwyn College)

After several years of work in mainly small animal practice I started teaching medical subjects at Selwyn – mainly on how the body works. I’m currently taking a certificate in medical education and as part of that have an interest in how new technology can work with traditional teaching practices. I'm also a proud owner of 12 tortoise and a large collection of sheep, wildfowl and poultry!
