Fr Dominic White is Acting Director of Research at the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology, Cambridge. A Dominican friar and Catholic priest, he is assigned to the Priory of St. Michael at Blackfriars, Cambridge. He studied Classics at Pembroke College, Cambridge, followed by a PhD at Imperial College London. He was also organist and choir director of St Dominic’s Priory, London, through which he met the Dominicans. His theological interests focus especially on theology of the arts, and the implications of the arts for metaphysics, liturgy and spirituality, especially mysticism and spiritual cosmology. Fr Dominic is the author of The Lost Knowledge of Christ: Christian Cosmology, Contemporary Spiritualities and the Arts (Liturgical Press, 2015), and How Do I Look? Theology in the Age of the Selfie (SCM, 2020). He is a composer, and co-founder of the Friends of Sophia group.

Anna Abram is Principal of the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology (MBIT) in Cambridge, where she also leads the MA in Contemporary Ethics.  She co-founded and co-edited ‘Bloomsbury Studies in Global Ethics’ and contributed to projects which required ethical analysis within areas of finance (City of London), gold mining (Peru) and education (Poland).  Some of her works available online include: ‘Ecclesial Ethics – A Way Forward?’ and an edited volume of ‘The Future of Catholic Theological Ethics’. She co-edited (together with Peter Gallagher SJ and Michael Kirwan SJ) ‘The Eye of Love’: Philosophy, Theology and the Jesuit Tradition (T&T Clark/Bloomsbury, 2017). Anna lives in Cambridge with her orange Rex Rabbit called ‘Beau’.

Susanne Jennings is President of the Margaret Beaufort Association. She read Theology at Cambridge followed by postgraduate studies in both Theology and English Literature. Her special interest lies in Catholicism and Judaism as depicted in 19th Century English Literature, along with that evinced in the 20th century by the late Trappist monk, Thomas Merton and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel for which she has given conference papers, led workshops and written articles for journals in the UK, Ireland and Poland.

She currently tutors in Theology and English Literature and is a Fellow of the RSA.

She is due to take up the editorship of the Thomas Merton Journal (UK & Ireland) in 2024.
