Dr Gill Sutherland

Dr Gill Sutherland taught and directed studies in History at Newnham 1965-2007 and continues to research and write. 

Professor Mary Norton

Professor Mary Beth Norton is an Honorary Fellow at Newnham and is an historian specialising in America before 1800.

Professor Emily Clark

Professor Emily Clark is the Clement Chambers Benenson Professor in American Colonial History. She specializes in early American and Atlantic world history, with a focus on the French Atlantic.
