Defending the unmodified body with Professor Clare Chambers
Defending the unmodified body with Professor Clare Chambers
Intact: A Defence of the Unmodified Body by Clare Chambers makes a forceful analysis and critique of the power dynamics that structure society and bear down as pressures to modify our bodies. While defending the right of anyone to choose how they look, Clare argues that social and institutional pressure to modify ourselves sends a powerful message: you are not good enough.
