Steffie Shields is a writer, lecturer and photographer who specialises in historic landscapes. Steffie is on the University of Cambridge Tutors Panel at the Institute of Continuing Education, Madingley and a Vice-President of The Gardens Trust. Steffie is also a member of the Capability Brown Tercentenary Festival Celebrations 2016 Advisory Research Group and has surveyed over 190 of his 250 plus attributed works. She will publish new research in her forthcoming book ‘Moving Heaven & Earth – Capability Brown’s Gift of Landscape’ (due 2016).
