“We have been on two trips with alumni now and thoroughly enjoyed the company. Having shared experiences and mutual reference points made for a relaxed and quickly achieved community spirit and new friendships enhanced the programme.

This year's programme was excellently organised and implemented, with great credit to our local guide who was assiduous in his concern for our personal welfare. He was also a mine of information in respect of the cultural and political background from an insider's point of view. Our trip scholar, Janice Stargardt is of course a world expert on the archaeology of the area and was most generous in sharing her expertise."
