Slaughter and May is launching a generous bursary scheme for Cambridge law students oriented around financial need. Slaughter and May’s bursary scheme will provide bursaries to six new students each year for £1750 per annum during their three years studying at Cambridge. This scheme will cover three intake cohorts, with the first coming to Cambridge this October. The bursary scheme ultimately will provide three years of financial support to 18 students who otherwise might not be able to afford to study law at Cambridge. The scheme will be open to UK and EU students. Details of the bursaries will be available on the Cambridge Bursary Scheme website shortly.

The firm has generously sponsored the Slaughter and May Lectureship in Corporate Law since 2015 and has committed to further support it for another year.

We are thrilled that Slaughter and May are assisting the Law Faculty in a way that will make a real difference to Cambridge students facing financial challenges. We are also grateful for the firm's continued support of our corporate law team.
