Join Dr Patricia Fara as she explores Isaac Newton's London career, including the thirty years he ran the Royal Mint and Royal Society. Formerly a reclusive other-worldly scholar at Cambridge, discover how he came to move in aristocratic circles, exert political influence and accumulate great wealth.

Dr Patricia Fara

Dr Patricia Fara is an Emeritus Fellow of Clare College and former President of the British Society for the History of Science. The author of prize-winning books, she has appeared as a guest many times on Radio 4’s In Our Time and other TV and radio programmes.
