Andy made his debut as director for Opera Australia in 2018, La Boheme, taking the reins on his first production for the company, which was a great critical success.  Andy also teaches Theatre Studies at The Sydney Conservatorium, the leading tertiary establishment for musical study in NSW. He gives masterclasses in performance and coaches individuals in dramatic and interpretative technique.
