Sydney - Annual Winter Feast
Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge Society of New South Wales for their annual Winter Feast. Where you can enjoy drinks, canapes and a two course dinner with guest speaker fellow alumnus Michael Pembroke, who will be speaking on 'Korea - How has this happened?'
Michael is a writer, historian, naturalist and author. His book Arthur Phillip: Sailor, Mercenary, Governor, Spy became a television documentary and was short-listed for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards and runner-up in the National Maritime Museum history award. The research for Pembroke’s latest book, Korea, has taken him to Moscow, Beijing, Pyongyang, Washington DC, Princeton and Cambridge. In 2016, he travelled through North Korea from the Yalu River to the Demilitarised Zone. He has been a judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales since 2010.
