Save the date, to join the Suffolk Cambridge Society for a talk by Richard Humphries, followed by a two-course lunch. Who will be speaking about the evolution of the silk trade from China and how Sudbury became the centre of the silk industry in the UK. 

Richard is the founder of The Humphries Weaving Company which has been at the pinnacle of high-quality fabric design and custom weaving for nearly five decades.
