Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge Society of Oxfordshire, for an afternoon exploring the morse of Oxford.

Is Oxford a safe place to visit? You might think not, judging by the number of murders in Colin Dexter’s Morse books and the TV series Inspector Morse, Lewis, and Endeavour. On this walk we will discover some of the filming locations around the city. Find out what the link is between Miss World, John Thaw and Endeavour, and where Hathaway drank some poisoned coffee. You could end the tour with a visit to one of the (many) pubs frequented by Morse.

Meeting time: 1.45 pm for a prompt 2 pm start.

Meeting place: The steps outside the Clarendon Building on Broad Street.

End time: approximately 4pm
