Alumni and guests are invited to join the Norfolk Cambridge Society for a talk and walk about Norwich's hidden industrial past. The talk and walk will be led by Dr Mary Fewster, who has taught at the School for Continuing Education at UEA and is a member of the Norfolk Historic Buildings Group. She will give an introductory talk and then lead a walk pointing out the evidence of Norwich’s industrial past.

So many names spring to mind: Startrite; Boulton and Paul and Caley’s to mention three. There is much evidence of the industry of Norwich if you know where to look.

Our morning will start at 10.00am at The King’s Centre, King Street and after the talk there will be an opportunity to purchase a cup of coffee before setting out on the guided walk at 11.30am.
