The Norfolk Cambridge Society has arranged for Andrew Clarke, Professor Emeritus, British Antarctic Survey to give a talk on - Antarctica and a life on ice, which will be followed by lunch.
Andrew will explore the history of the continent and the extent to which the modern visitor sees a different continent from the one first discovered a little over two centuries ago. Find out why a Paris nightclub became involved with Antarctica, why icefish are so strange, and where the forests have gone.
