Netherlands - Round table event
Alumni and guests are invited to join the Oxford and Cambridge Society of The Netherlands for a round table event, titled "How microbes keep their CRISPR memory up to date".
It will be a chance to listen to an eminent speaker in a small and intimate setting and ask questions.
The speaker is Dr. Stan Brouns, a renowned expert on CRISPR/Cas genome editing and microbe/bacteriophage interactions, topics which are in the news almost daily. Dr. Brouns has been contributing to public discussion rounds and his presentation will be aimed at non-experts. Further details on his work can be found on his homepage.
Please register by emailing Johannes Hohlbein. €10 is to be paid upon arrival.
