Malvern - Spring Luncheon, AGM and Lecture
Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge Society of Hereford and Worcester for their spring luncheon and AGM at the Abbey Hotel, Malvern. After lunch, there will be a guest lecture by Professor Gareth Williams on his book Paralysed with fear: the story of polio.
Gareth has written or co-authored over 20 books, including three aimed at the general reading public. You may recognise him from his appearances on radio and TV, which include The Mary Berry Story; and BBC documentaries on The Georgian Revolution (with Lucy Worsley) and polio vaccines (with Stephanie Flanders). His next book, Unravelling the Double Helix: the lost heroes of DNA, is due out in April. (See attached biography).

The Abbey Hotel is in the centre of Malvern, behind the Abbey Archway.
Car parking
Ample parking at the hotel.
The approach is via Grange Road, turning right into Abbey Road.
