The Victoria and Albert Museum is the world’s leading museum of art and design, full of priceless textiles, paintings, sculpture, metalwork and architecture.

In this tour we will discover the influence of the Gothic on medieval European churches and learn how rich European royals decorated their palaces with treasures such as an enormous hunting tapestry and a gold enamelled cup. We will then enter the Renaissance world of the Medici family and their circle in Florence, admiring an elegant Renaissance palace courtyard, a recreated 15th century scholar’s study and some of the best classical inspired sculpture by the likes of Giambologna and Donatello.
