Lunch followed by a talk from Cambridge Society of North and West Yorkshire member Philip Harvey (St Catharine's 1957).
Philip will talk about the English countryside as it was in the 1890's. He will lead us down the river valley, along the Ambleden canal, through the villages of Broad Hambury and Kingslake to the mill town at the foot of the Dale. The talk is illustrated with superb photographs and will be supported by some familiar poetry.
11.30am: Gather in the hotel bar
12.15pm: Move into the dining room
12.30pm: Lunch (menu below)
After lunch: Talk from Philip Harvey followed by Q&A session
