Geneva - Full Moon Walk
Every year the Oxford and Cambridge Club of Geneva take alumni and guests on a moonlight walk in the snow with dinner along the way. This year it will be taking place on Thursday, 1 March at Couvaloup de Crans in the Jura mountains near La Givrine.
The walk will take place no matter what the weather. The leader, Isobel Shaw knows the area well and will choose a suitable route according to the conditions. The maximum length of the walk will be one hour each way. If it is raining, it will be about 30 minutes each way.
Make sure to bring a flashlight, suitable boots with good gripping soles for walking on packed snow, warm clothing, hat and gloves and walking sticks/ski poles. Expect to be back at the cars around 11pm.
