Hosted by the Cambridge Alumni Club at Frankfurt
Thursday, 28 September 2017 - 5.30pm CEST
Open to:
Alumni and guests

Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge Alumni Group at Frankfurt, along with fellow Oxford alumni for a visit to the European Central Bank in Franfurt.

5.30pm - Arrival, security screening, visitor registration
6pm - Presentation and discussion
Hosts: Mr Gabriel Glöckler, Principal Adviser, Directorate General Communications, and Mr Demosthenes Ioannou, Principal Economist, Division European Institutions and Fora
7.30pm - Visit of the Visitor Centre
8pm - End of visit

On the day itself registered participants must present a valid photographic ID card or passport. Other documents such as driver’s licences, corporate IDs or residence permits will not be sufficient. Participants will then subject to security checks of the type routinely conducted at international airports before they can enter the ECB premises.

Please note: The ECB has changed its visitor and security regulations since our last visit. Therefore, unfortunately, there will be no guided visit of the building this time (and no possibility to explore this on one's own). The ECB replaced the guided visit by a visit of the newly created Visitor Centre. In addition there is going to be an exhibition with contemporary art from Cyprus in the lobby.

Booking information

The ECB requires security checks beforehand. To access the building may we ask you to confirm your attendance by email and provide the following details until latest 08 September, 2017. Please RSVP using the link below. Please include your full name and date of birth.
