Edinburgh - CAMentrepreneurs Scotland event
Join experienced funders and fundraisers Richard Lucas and Derek Douglas as they discuss their experience of spin-out and start-up funding, including deal shaping, angel funding, flotation, trade sales, buy-ins and buy-outs.
This is the fifth meeting of CAMentrepreneurs Edinburgh and anyone who is interested in entrepreneurship is welcome to attend and network with like-minded people.
The event will be moderated by Dr Claudia M Duffy, leader of CAMentrepreneurs Scotland. There will also be time for a Q&A and the chance to chat with other attendees over refreshments.
Speakers
Richard Lucas
A man of many hats including angel investor and founder of multiple companies, Richard also just happens to be the founder of CAMentrepreneurs, together with Peter Cowley, current President of the European Business Angel Network.
Derek Douglas
Derek has his own Corporate Finance company and has raised over £100 million for clients in deals of many shapes. Derek's involvement with flotations enabled him to work closely with brokers and understand their requirements, using this knowledge to maximise potential value for Adam Smith Limited (ASL) clients.
