Edinburgh - Annual General Meeting
Edinburgh - Annual General Meeting
Hear about the Society's developments over the past year and its future plans. Beforehand, get to know other alumni over drinks.
Agenda
After the captivating formal part of the AGM we are honoured to hear a talk given by our member Nick Hotham:
World Class? The Old and New Towns of Edinburgh World Heritage Site in an international context
Nick is Head of External Relations at Edinburgh World Heritage. After graduating from Emmanuel College in History and Art History, Nicholas pursued a career in consumer products working in the UK, Germany, France and latterly in Switzerland where he held a senior global role for Procter and Gamble. In 2016 he switched from the business world to cultural heritage management following the completion of a Masters degree at the Ironbridge Institute (University of Birmingham). His particular area of interest is urban World Heritage Sites, of which the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh is one of the most extensive and authentic examples in Europe
Please note there is no charge to attend the meeting but there will be a £10 charge to attend the drinks reception. We have limited places for dinner at the New Club, and these will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Please let us know if you would like to join the Committee for dinner.
