Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge Society of Dorset for a talk on “The Explorers of the Nile”.

The highly acclaimed biographer of David Livingstone and Henry Morton Stanley, Tim Jeal, will give a talk about his book, “The Explorers of the Nile”. This covers Speake and Burton’s legendary quest to discover the source of the Nile, a truly remarkable story.  Tim is an Oxford scholar but we will forgive him that!

A buffet lunch will follow the talk.
