The Cambridge Society of North and West Yorkshire invites new students starting at Cambridge this autumn to join members for an informal evening at Jacob's Well. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make some friends before you arrive. You will meet current students and alumni from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge.

Refreshments: drinks and nibbles will be available, free of charge

Guests: you are welcome to bring up to three guests (e.g. parent, guardian or friend)

Location information

The entrance is a solid wooden door. Just push and enter and the event will be upstairs.

Easily accessible from the Railway Station with various bus stops outside of the Station. 

Leave the Station at the main exit onto Station Road. Keeping to your right, cross Station Road and continue to your right, walking with the City Wall on your left, up a hill and round to a cross road. Bear left and then go through the arch of  Micklegate. Keep going straight ahead along Micklegate. Trinity Lane is the second road on the right. Go down Trinity Lane and Jacob's Well is a short distance on your right. 

If you are travelling by car please enote that parking is not allowed in Trinity Lane. But you can park in the nearby Micklegate and Nunnery Lane car park on the road that goes off to the right immediately before you go through the Micklegate Arch.

Check before you park as there is a charge for parking in the evening in many of the nearby streets and car parks.
