The Cambridge Society of Sussex warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Lewes before the start of term. 

This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make some friends before you arrive. You can expect to meet group members, recent graduates and current students from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge.

Refreshments: drinks and snacks will be provided, free of charge

Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest (such as a parent, guardian or friend)

Dress code: there is no dress code; please wear whatever you feel comfortable in

Please note that although the venue is owned by Southover parish church, this is not a religious or spiritual event

Directions: from Lewes railway station, turn left out of the main (upstairs) entrance and right at the roundabout. Church End Cottage is 4 mins walk

Parking: Church End Cottage is accessed via Cockshut Road off Southover High Street. Parking for disabled users is available at the venue. On road parking directly opposite the Church is free from 6pm. There is also a free car park at the far end of Cockshut Road
