Munich - Freshers' Event
Cambridge Alumni Munich warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Munich before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.
You can expect to meet alumni and recent graduates from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge. There will also be a question and answer session.
Refreshments: non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and food can be purchased from the venue (cash and credit/debit cards will be accepted)
Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest (such as a parent, guardian or friend)
Dress code: wear whatever you feel comfortable in

On arrival: take the stairs to the basement and our private room will be on the left. Look out for the small Cambridge University flag. If you get lost, ask staff for directions to the reservation for Mrs Deninger
Directions: take the S-Bahn, U3 or U6 to Marienplatz and head to Frauenkirche (Munich Cathedral). The venue is next to the east end of the Cathedral. If you come by S-Bahn, take the "Weinstraße" exit, go down Weinstraße and turn left into a tiny alley called Albertgasse after you've passed the H&M store. If you come by U-Bahn, take the "Marienhof" exit and take the escalator to "Weinstraße". As you reach the surface, go straight ahead and down a tiny alley called Albertgasse and the venue is on the right-hand side
