The Cambridge Society of Kent warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Canterbury before the start of term. 

This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make some friends before you arrive. You can expect to meet group members and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge.

Students who attend the Freshers' Event will be presented with a £25 book token at the event, as a welcome gift from the Society. There will be no obligations or conditions associated with receiving this gift.

Refreshments: drinks and snacks will be provided, free of charge

Guests: it will not be possible to bring a guest

Dress code: there is no dress code; please wear whatever you feel comfortable in
