Sunday, 20 May 2018 - 3.30pm BST
Open to:
Public (open to all)

The Lucy Cavendish Singers are holding an afternoon concert in aid of the charity Send a Cow, a charity that provides training, livestock seeds and ongoing support to thousand of families in Africa.

The concert will take place in a historic, timber-framed barn, set in the beautiful grounds of Childerley Hall just outside Cambridge.

For this performance we are pleased to welcome Ivan Garford on double bass and Dave Niskin on guitar.

The Lucy Cavendish Singers offer a highly-varied repertoire and range of styles from which the Director creates programmes to suit the occasion. Whether singing jazz or folk, medieval plainsong or classical, show tunes or opera, the Singers’ performances are always compelling – with audiences moved both to tears and to laughter. Most full choir songs are sung unaccompanied. For solos and small groups the Singers may be joined by one or more of their excellent musicians on violin, double bass, lute, harp or piano.

Baroness Perry of Southwark is the Patron of the Choir.

We do hope that you will be able to join us to support this very worthwhile cause.

Prices will be released shortly.
